What is the way which you follow to get out of your mobile phone contract

What is the way you can get out of your cell phone contract.

Most of the time, people agree to a contract with a mobile phone company to get a discounted cell phone that is available at the time. Another big reason for agreeing to sign a contract with a phone company is to prevent them from raising your monthly plan rates as an existing customer. But what if your mobile phone contract has left you stuck with poor service or you've just found a far better deal elsewhere? Getting out of a mobile phone contract can be pricey and difficult; after all, this contract is a legally binding document.

Fortunately there are some ways to get out of your mobile phone contract; hopefully one of these will allow you to break free of that 1 or 2 year ball and chain 'agreement'.
Pay the termination fee - This is usually the fastest and easiest way out of a cell phone contract. Of course it is often the most expensive way too. Early termination fees often run a few hundred dollars, leave you with a locked and useless handset, and still leave you responsible to pay any money you may owe from services and fees before the termination is processed. If you are at the very start of your contract or the very end of the contract, it makes little financial sense to pay a few hundred dollars just to end up going to a new mobile phone contract elsewhere.

Let someone else foot the bill - Competition is steeper than ever in the mobile phone industry so every last customer a company gets to sign on with a contract counts.
While rare, some offers come around where a competing cell phone company will agree to pay off your termination fee at your current service provider in return for you becoming their customer. These offers are likely to include longer contract agreements, may waive any handset discounts, and void any other sale prices or special offers.

Challenge the contract - A contract is a legally binding document and as such, both parties have agreed to certain rights and responsibilities. You agree to pay the rates and fees listed within your contract and in return the mobile phone company agrees to provide service, notification of rate changes, and anything else promised in the contract. If your cell phone company promised you good signal strength in your area but you've found the service to be terrible, you can try to challenge the contract. If you signed a contract for a 69.99 a month plan and suddenly without notice or an option to opt-out your bill jumps to 89.99 a month you could challenge the contract.

Keep in mind however that cell phone contracts are drawn up by legal teams of experts hired by the cell phone companies and you'll want to closely review the terms of service and contract before signing or in the event you want to challenge the contract.

Sometimes simply threatening to call the Better Business Bureau can be enough to get a mobile phone company to back down and cut you a break. Even then however many companies will put exclusions in their contracts that prevent you from legally leaving the contract without penalty.

The above ways are the best and most common ways to get out of your mobile phone contract. Again if you are nearing the end of an existing contract, simply let the contract expire and you'll be out for free. If you haven't yet signed a contract and are wary of cell phone contracts, consider the cell phone service providers who offer pre-paid plans or plans without contracts but these may come with higher rates or smaller discounts. Always read a contract fully before accepting the terms and signing on the dotted line.
