The Assassin’s Creed games have really become a staple franchise on the PS3, with most of the iterations boasting additional content for that platform. Almost all of the Assassin’s Creed games contained PS3 exclusive content in some shape or form.
Sony announced at E3 that Assassin’s Creed III will continue that tradition with additional content for the PS3. Ubisoft and Sony really didn’t provide too much details around the content during announcement, but some more information have surfaced recently.
Amazon has updated its preorder page showing the new box art for Assassin’s Creed III. The box art details that the game will contain 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay exclusively for the PS3 edition of the game.
This is actually quite impressive, as its substantially more exclusive content over what was in Brotherhood. Although, one could also argue that AC: Revelations did come with a free copy of Assassin’s Creed I for the PS3, which is also substantial.
It appears that PlayStation fans will be able to experience the full Assassin’s Creed treatment with the PS Vita also receiving the impressive looking Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation that has cross-play functionality with the PS3 version.
